Judges of The Honours
The nominees for the Honours 2024 are being evaluated by a judging panel of esteemed figures in the superyacht industry, representing a breadth of experience across eight different sectors.
-
Who can nominate?Everyone is welcome to take part in the nomination process.
-
Who can be nominated? The nominee should have achieved concrete results that have a tangible link to the superyacht industry during the last five years. The nominee should have influenced the superyacht industry. The influence can be made by the contribution to diversity and inclusion, sustainability, new technologies, scientific research, philanthropic ventures and so on. There are no specific categories for nomination. The focus should be on the impact, novelty, creativity of the nominees, and their willingness to create a difference within the superyacht industry. All of the nominees will be examined according to their achievements rather than how many times they have got nominated.
-
How to nominate? All nominations are to be made on the The Honours website under the nomination section. The completion of the online form indicates an intention to nominate. The questions in the nomination form should be answered during the nomination process to explicitly explain the importance of the accomplishments relevant to the award.
-
How will the nominees be selected?Voting on all nominees shall be restricted to a judging panel. The judging panel will consist of designated judges that includes at least one judge from each sector within the superyacht industry. The nomination list shall be voted on during May 2024. A list of nominations won’t be published to support the idea that there are no losers or winners. Honourees will be announced and recognised during the The Honours evening on 24 September 2024 according to the decision that has been made by the judges.
